The Bean

I know, I know, its been FOREVER since I posted any news about the li'l peanut's adventures...so today, Hannah would like to announce the birth of her little sister, Haleigh Ann Robinson, born at 1:23 pm on November 14, 2010, weighing 8.08 pounds and 20 inches!
Hannah is such an amazing big sister and helps mommy and daddy out a lot! Here are some fun pics of our first week together!

For Hannah's second birthday, my sister took Hannah's pictures to celebrate this big milestone for our li'l girl. I have always known my sister was very talented and I have spent many a day watching her take pics, edit them, and of course, criticize her own work and wonder if she is really good enough to be a professional photographer. I have done my best to reassure her that she has the eye for pictures, she has the talent, and she even has the confidence (when she is behind the camera its there, she doubts herself after). Anyway, she just rolled out the pics she took of Hannah on her blog, pocketfullofposes.blogspot.com (you can also reach it from my sidebar). They are the most incredible pics of our li'l girl that we have ever seen...and we have taken many and paid a pretty penny for some of them...yet these are the most precious, priceless memories of the li'l nut that we will ever have. I am so lucky to have such a talented sister who can capture the true essence and beauty of our li'l girl. These are a few of my favorite things...

Today the li'l nut is turning two! It is hard to believe how fast the last two years have gone by for our li'l family and how much has changed since this incredible li'l girl entered into our lives. She is a li'l miracle and everyday she amazes us by how incredibly loving, kind, sensitive, smart, witty, fun, sassy, squirmy, busy, caring, compassionate, and perfectly perfect she is! She is the best part of both of us and we feel so lucky to be her parents...

In honor of turning two, here are a few of Hannah's favorite things...

Favorite Books
Fancy Fancy (Fancy Nancy). Pinkalicious. Buzz Buzz Buzzing Bees. Ariel. How the Grinch Stole Christmas (all year long!). The best is when I walk into her room or playroom and find her reading the books to herself...such a smart girl!

Favorite Toys
Ariel (can you see a theme here?). Puzzles. Books. Chicken (kitchen). Coffee party (like tea party, only Hannah makes coffee). Bouncy ball. Elmo. Bicycle. Dora backpack. Stroller. Tent. Babies...the cutest thing is Hannah always makes her babies part of a family...she has three stuffed bears called "Mommy, Daddy, and Baby," three ducks, three frogs, etc...they are always a family and always go together...melts my heart.

Favorite Activities
Playing outside on the swing set. Dancing to her favorite songs. Going to Jazz games. This little piggy. Road trips. Running with daddy. Bathtime. Brushing her teeth (not quite, but we're trying). Playing with cousins. Taking every last movie out of the cupboard. Singing. Helping mommy fold the clothes. Playing on the iPhone. Talking on the phone. Watching movies. Taking off her pants.

Favorite Shows
Little Mermaid. Hi Ho (Snow White). Dora. Go Go (Diego). Little Bill. Max and Ruby. Elmo's World (Sesame Street).

Favorite Foods
Milky. Juice. Ice cream. Chippies. Crackers. Crispix. Cheese. Dog Dog. Grapes. Nana. Beans. Salad. Carrots. Ranch...anything with ranch and she will eat it.

These are just a few (there is so much more) of the adorable things the nut has learned over the last two years and each little "hannahism" brings mommy and daddy so much joy and laughter, it is difficult to imagine our lives without her. It is so hard to watch her grow and to know that we will never get this time back, but its also so exciting to watch her develop into the person that she is and will be...its bittersweet being a parent, but the greatest gift we could ever ask for.

Hannah Marie, Mommy and Daddy love you dearly and more then you will ever know! Happy 2nd Birthday, Lil' Nut!
